The Leak

Excellence requires no leakage.

Absolutely none.

If there is but a single leak, the whole ship goes down, and you with it.

Compromise. Compassion. Sympathy.

What are these but leaks.

When people get away with whatever they can, they will continue to do so.

Because if they continue to get away with it, why would they stop?

If you tolerate something, it will not only exist, but thrive.

It will metastasize like a cancer.

And your entire life will be about fighting it, treating it, avoiding it, debating it, reasoning with it.

The more I come to see the reality, the more I come to know it as hard mathematics.

One plus one equals two, no matter what anyone says.

Whether one wants to be one or not.

Maybe it wants to be 0.9 sometimes, and still end up as 2.

Does this make sense to you?

Is this possible?

And yet, if you look at the situation here on this lonely wasteland we call Earth, it is exactly the case.

We say we want 2, but we only bring 0.9 to the equation at best.

So what we have is insincerity. There is no airtightness.

There is only leakage.

And the insidious gas has been leaking into our interiorities since our very birth.

We are addicted, sympathetic towards it.

Is man above becoming addicted to, and cherishing known poisons?

What about unknown poisons?

And as long as we don’t know it’s poison, the mind won’t give us a hard time.

Even if we think we do know, almost none of us take a hardline stance against it.

Instead, we choose to focus even more on the apparent poisons of others.

Because we’re so concerned about others right?

Surely they deserve at least 50% of our attention.

But if you realized that 99.9% of others are 99.9% poison, you might start to think otherwise.

You might start to realize the foolishness of debate. The foolishness of the idea of change. The foolishness of anything other than total solitude.

No sane man arrives at this place.

But no sane man can see.

For if he could see, his insanity would be assured.

A human being that comes to see things as they are begins to see the leaks for what they are.

Regardless of the fancy names the world conceals their true nature with.

But if you have a leak, and your neighbor does too, it’s normal, right?

The mind doesn’t see truth. It sees what it sees.

All it knows is comparison, rationalization, logic and conformity.

It is lazy, growth-stunted, dull and insensitive.

There is no hope of rehabilitation for the common mind.

If you rationalize, you are already dead in the water.

If you sympathize in any way, you’re already dead in the water.

The problem is and always has been the seeking. The addition. The artificial need. The worry. The drama.

It takes one mighty soul to be able to withstand all these attacks from the mind, from morality, from the world.

It takes one mighty soul to see things for how they really are, despite its own delusional hopes and wishes.

It takes one mighty soul to be able to, get up and look around.

For nobody wants to see.

And if they see you trying to see—if they sniff out even a modicum of your sight—they will seek to strike you back down into the little hole you crawled out of like a drunk redneck playing a demented game of whack-a-mole.

Hardline uncompromise, zero tolerance of anything other than upmost excellency, and a psychopathic-like insistence on the truth and nothing but the truth—is and always will be, the only way to slay this demon.

1 + 1 = 2

And when you’re staring at the leak in the mirror, what will you do?
